Simec Security complete the installation of anti tailgating measures at the Surrey headquarters of one of the UK’s leading Life and Pensions providers. The Simec Security & Integrated Design installation teams carried out the works over a single weekend which comprised the installation of nine controlled lanes of turnstiles at three separate entrances.
A DDA compliant Glassgate 400 full height Fastlane has been installed at one of the unmanned entrances to restrict access to authorised users only. At the main reception and security entrances Fastlane Glasswing Compact and DDA compliant Dual Intelligates prevent unauthorised site access.
The Siemens SiPass Integrated access control and alarm management system controls and monitors the site, with three Advanced Central Controllers (ACC AC5100) units providing distributed intelligent local database support over twelve FLN busses for 80 proximity readers with global anti passback enabled.
