Simec complete the £300K refit of the Sainsbury’s Profit Protection Emergency Control room at their central London headquarters in Holborn. The fast track project involved strip out and refurbishment of an ageing control room and replacement of existing analogue CCTV cameras with a Panasonic WV-ASC970 server based IP system. 65 new IP cameras have been provided throughout the building.
The project involved the redesign of the control room and provision of new technical furniture, lighting, air conditioning and a wallboard comprising fourteen 42″ Panasonic professional display monitors. A Cathexis alarm gateway server provides the facility for remote monitoring of stores, data centres and distribution centres from this central location.
