Simec Security complete the installation of full height Gunnebo ClearSec GD120 turnstiles at a Sainsburys Distribution Centre, providing site entrance control for over 3000 staff and contractors. The turnstiles are controlled through the Siemens Sipass Integrated access control system with Hard Anti-Passback enabled.
The Sipass system option prevents access cards being used for re-entry to site until they have been recorded as leaving the Anti-Passback zone created on the system. This ensures that roll call and muster reports provide accurate details of all staff, contractors and visitors on site in the event of emergency evacuation. The turnstiles also eliminate tailgating issues associated with many conventional access control systems.
